Information on how you can donate to us and ways in which we are currently fundraising.

As you all know we at CAT rely heavily on donations to keep us going. Funds are very low at the moment and we are looking for donations however small to help with kittens currently in foster care with us. If you are in a position to do so please send us a donation. It will be very much appreciated.
Donations
We are a dedicated voluntary cat rescue organisation, who do our utmost for cats and kittens in need. On many occasions, we are finding we are the only ones willing to help cats on many occasions. Especially with stray cats in the cold wintry weather and large feral colonies. Thank you very much from all our volunteers and cats in our care for any donation that you give to Cat Action Trust Lanark & Central. We rely solely on public donations as we have no government support or funding.
There are a number of ways in which you can donate to us, enabling us to help and improve cats lives:-

- Legacy gifting - if you are thinking on leaving a well deserving local cat rescue like us a gift in your legacy, we would like to assure you that it would be used to continue to help the lives of cats in our community.

Easyfundraising
Easyfundraising lets you donate to us as you shop. Go to http//www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/catactiontrustlanarkshire ,sign up for free and get shopping and help our charity at no extra cost to you. After signing up for this, just go into easyfundraising prior to buying any products from your favourite shops, such as Amazon, John Lewis, ASOS, E-bay. Infact there are over 3000 retailers on board. After you have made your purchase the retailer will make a donation to us at no extra cost to you! Its a very small percentage, but if lots of people do this for us, it will sure make a big difference!
Amazon Wish List
We now have an Amazon Wish List filled with stuff we need to help cats in our care. If anyone wishes to buy an item from it which will be sent straight to us, please click the Amazon icon to be directed to our wish list.
Stalls & Auctions
We occasionally run tombola stalls at events and are always looking for people to run the stall, or prize donations for the tombola. If you would like to help at an event, donate prizes or know of an event which you think we could run a stall at, please contact us.

We run online charity auctions a few times a year, where we auction off some better prizes we have. Past prizes have included the Cult Beauty advent calendar. These events take place on our Facebook page, so please join and keep an eye out there if you are interested. If you would like to donate a bigger prize to be auctioned off, please contact us!
Pets at Home
Pictured here is Miriam, one of our volunteers, accepting a Support Adoption for Pets cheque from Pets at Home in Hamilton for £7363.39 for money raised during the Support Adoption for Pets Summer and Santa Paws Fundraising Appeal 2019. Many thanks to all those who donated tombola prizes, helped at the stall and supported us at these events.
Why not come along and support your local, very active, cat charity and help make a real difference to some needy rescued cats lives! All money raised form these events, will be going directly to help pay our large vets bill that we experience throughout the year.
